Construction of New Single Family Housing Units (CHIP)
The Griffin Housing Authority is accepting sealed bids from qualified Georgia Licensed General Contractors to construction 2 new housing units within the City of Griffin. This project is to be funded with Community Home Investment Program funds and thus is subject to all applicable Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights guidelines. The work to be performed under this contract is under a program providing direct Federal financial assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701 U.
Contractors must hold an active Residential Basic, Residential-Light Commercial Contractor, or General Contractor License and maintain insurance. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid.
Bids will be received by the Griffin Housing Authority, 327 S. 9th Street, Griffin, Georgia 30224 until vu11:00 AM local time on January 16, 2024. Late documents will not be considered nor returned.
Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
